What made you decide to take a leap of faith and do a boudoir session?

Sonia: My friend Ashlee referred me.

Before my experience I was most nervous about...

Sonia: My body. I didn’t think I would be the right size, or have the right look.

Was the session different than what you expected it to be?

Sonia: Yes!!!!

What was your favorite part about the entire experience?

Sonia: Seeing myself in a new light. Hair and makeup was a huge plus!

I was nervous (or not nervous) about my big reveal because...

Sonia: I wasn’t nervous about my reveal because I knew she would take good care of me and her pictures are fucking amazing!!!

How did you feel when you saw your photographs?

Sonia: I started crying I couldn’t believe these photos were actually me, or that I could look that good

I now see my body in a different light because...

Sonia: I see that just because I’m a little bit bigger doesn’t mean I’m not beautiful. I know now that I’m a beautiful, sexy, badass!

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of the session?

Sonia: Yes, I’m no longer trying to hide my body. I’m comfortable in my own skin for once in my life.

I love my boudoir photos because...

Sonia: They really show all of me. Even the parts that I thought were flaws, which aren’t even flaws.

Any advice for women interested in their own boudoir session

Sonia: If you’re interested in doing then just do it!! It makes you feel like you can do anything and overcome anything.

Even if they’re nervous, my advice to other OC Babes would be to...

Sonia: Just do it!!! Fuck anybody who has anything bad to say about. I have never loved my body more than I do right now. In this moment I feel like I can accomplish anything.
